USAAC Air Attack Preview!
If you don´t know AirAttack yet, just pop in and take a look, and maybe you might breathe some of the air, observe some of the nimbus on which the fame of this flight simulation once was founded. One thing is for certain, you will experience a wonderful nostalgic trip back into the history of flight simulation, which still calls out and attracts some "undaunted" sim fans from all over the world.

Probably the most thrilling fun which offers in game chat that doesn't´ require hosting and all this with an install file of barely 8 MB size. The unique arcade mode offers quick gaming fun, log in and off you go.
AirAttack offers a public "Free For All - Arena" in which all participating pilots fight against every other, there is also a "Teams - Arena" in which two to four squads with up to 15 pilots each can choose from four nations with four different WWII fighter planes each.
AirAttack also offers password protected private arena in both "FFA-mode" and "TEAMS-mode" which can be created on the public game servers. A public server can cope with up to 200 players and delivers "flight-combat at its best". Controls are comparatively simple and allows for a quick mastery of interesting and even beautiful flight maneuvers.

The diversity of in-flight and handling characteristics of the different available planes (for example: Spitfire, Hurricane, Messerschmitt, Yak, Mustang...) opens a variety of solo or team based tactics for the player. The second rate and unattractive ground details are compensated for by the more intricately designed planes, damage ratio, and airfield models.

The name "AirAttack" stems from the more aggressive (though bloodless) game play, and from the four ack-ack (anti-aircraft) guns which are situated on each airfield and open hell for any pilot who attempts to shoot at landed defenseless aircraft.

AirAttack is a purebred "online multi player WWII flight combat simulator" (no opponents in offline mode!) with low requirements in respect of system and hardware. Even if this simulation is not the most recent regarding graphics and development, it offers enormous fun in game play and is highly addictive.
A big international community, subdivided in five cooperating communities of different languages, has supported this game since the year 1999! (A noticeable fact, especially in these fast moving times!). Last but not least, an important attraction this game provides are Leagues and Events for teams/squads and single pilots, which are offered by the communities and often even held worldwide.
