1st Warm up/soccer

 Well last nights Soccer warm up went off without a hitch.

 With 11 players per team we had a really close match.
The pace was fast with the US team taking a 3 point lead right away.
 But the GB team put up a fierce fight and brought back to a tie game of
11 to 11 in the last 10 minutes.

 With the game in overtime the US just squeezed out a victory
with a 12 to 11 win..The best  soccer match we have had in Air Attack.

 A great game played and my thanks to all of you for great sportsmanship
putting up with the referee...

 next week will start competition, So get your Balls shined up and be ready

This was indeed the best soccer match played to date.    Especially since a lot of the people who played last night had not played it before.   I think they all learned very quickly on how to compete in this game, and before long we should have some highly tuned ball kicking machines in our soccer matches.

For those of you who joined us last night on the GB base, Air Pirates, Phantom Aces, & RAF,  thanks,  you guys did a masterful job of playing, considering the fact that most of you had not played this before.  We did and outstanding job coming back from and 0-3 deficit to tie it up 11 to 11, and at one point taking the lead for one round.

To the US team.  Great Job Guys and Gals I look forward to next weeks match.
