I have a Westell model A90 750018-07 ,4 port,router/modem that the phone company supplied and I'm using a Linksys model EZXS88W workgroup switch to go to each of 3 computers. Both are 4 port models. I have DSL and have the highest bandwidth that I can get,not the slow cheaper one. I go from the router/modem to the workgroup switch and then to the pc's. I would like to have 2 pc's with a possibility for 3 pc's all ready to fly for friends and family. Right now I can only fly with one pc at a time. When one is in the room and the other trys to go in it times out and says"No Responce From Server" and you can't get in. Also it boots the other one out of the room and you have to re-enter.  None of this is wireless. I have tried everything to get this working but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate the help seeing as I am no computer wiz, just a guy that knows enough to be a pain in the arse, lol.
I did have a thought tho,What if I purchase a different router and put it in between the router/modem and the work group switch? Would this work? Or would it conflict with the router/modem?
I know other people can fly more than one from there connection so I know I am doing something wrong.
If anyone can help me out I promiss never to shoot you again, lol.  confused

Hi Bonz,

Not shooting me down isnt an issue but I can offer a suggestion for you that I have used. I had the very same problem on cable and could not get another pc to connect to AA.

The solution to the problem is either you go through all the crap of trying various options only to find none of them work or you can simply use a proxy server and this assigns you a different IP address for each pc you have the proxy configured on. AA then looks at the different IP addresses and lets everyone in. So simple its not funny.

I used this quite frequently so my son and I can get online together but since then I have 2 incoming connection from 2 ISP's so this isnt an issue any longer.

I will PM you the details.  Cool

Fire was much cheaper. I can't hear my telephone either anymore and the volume is maxxed, but of course maybe if I muted my plane I might, lol. Eyes are going to so I need glasses to find the glasses to find the dialer to dial. Who needs the phone when you have forums and teamspeak? Every time I answer mine it's someone that wants me to leave my nice warm plane,so I shut it off.  What is your phone number anyway Kid? I wanna put it on the Ladies room wall at Weight Watchers. You might get lucky.

Lotta self-help tapes out there. Got one called "How to Handle Disappointment." I got it home and the box was empty.

So that's who the wrong number was.  Hmmm, I hope you didn't use all that fishing line, tin cans and chewing gun I told you about.
