Why do we require three different forums all discussing the same topics
GB US GE
would it not be better for the game if we had a central forum on the CLP where everyone could post, after all this is where we want the players to end up
The clp page is pritty dam boaring to look at nothing to read or to intice players into the game
Now if there was a game forum on there it may help to keep players interested
As a new player you find the game down load it and for some reason it does not work (dah)
So you write out a suport ticket and wait and wait and wait log off forget about AA
Now if there was a forum for players to read it may just hold them long enough to get more interested

Welche Sprache verwendet wird? Englisch/Deutsch/Amerikanisch?

Have you posted this on the German and UK sites Wiz?

And don't forget the Anzaac site.

This subject was debated a few times before.I see no reason not to have an international forum on the CLP.We can still have our own forums to appease each community in their  own endeavors. For league issues and events and such things so as not to clutter up the CLP forums.

I see no harm in each community keeping what they already have, due to time zones and such.

But a centralized forum I think would benefit all of us.

As far as keeping new players in the game,we have a new pilot training program starting this Monday to try and help keep interest in the game.
It can do no harm and I hope it becomes  a mainstay to keep the new people interested.

We didn't use the CLP forum because the program will be during USA times in the evening.Anyone can join, but must go by those times.

Who do we take this too, to get the forums we want on the CLP.Each community leader?

I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring to make it happen.

There are links to each community on the CLP forums, but if they are used or not is the question.

Agree, open forums at the launch page would be great for the users and the game itself, but sure will hurt community forums.

To have open forums it will need at least the majority of community leaders to agree.
Not sure this will work out since I have experienced that even internal forums for squad leaders or league manager are not appreciated.
Simply no need for that was what I got and that reflects not my experience. There was and is a need for such forums and there is also a need for at least a general help forum, only thing is that may some see it as problem to have less visitors at the own community forum.

If someone starts that debate new, my voice agrees with the call for open forums.

The question should not be how many visitors some community forum got, the question is how many pilots play in the arenas and how many active squads has the game.
Open forums can boost that a bit, giving specially new pilots a better foundation for the game.

It makes a lot of sense for there to be a central forum where all can get together to discuss common issues and I don't think it matters if it diminishes traffic on the community sites. If they die it will be a natural death; the players themselves will decide by their usage what deserves to survive.

Moving on though it might be worth considering what a central forum will do for international relations. Will it build relations between communities or will it cause more friction? I haven't thought that one out but it's worth some debate.

maybe it will hurt the forums but it may benefit the game and that is what we all want
If are only objective is to have busy forums then the game becomes second.

If it is up to the leaders to agree before this can happen I would of thought that the leaders would want to go along with what is best for the Airattack game and its communty if not they are not acting on behalf of its players

Go to the people
Learn from them
Love them
Start with what they know
Build on what they have
But of the best leaders
When their task is accomplished
Their work is done
The people will remark:
"We have done it ourselves."

What's profound about it? She's just chosen an interesting way to back up your statement about the leaders listening to the players. Didn't it bear repeating?

Asking this community for support then belittling it when you get it seems counter productive to your cause.

I'm all for the centralization of the forums on the CLP but what happens, as in your case Wizard, if you get banned and cant post there for some reason? At least this way you can post on other forums to get your message out.

Personally I don't think the community forums will die, they may slow but never die as each community has their own feel. For example at the Anzaac forums we certainly don't talk about politic or religion as in other forums, but more about beer drinking and having fun.

So the existing forums I think will still remain although they may be a little quieter.

@ Sharpnel not sure how i offended you but here is the definition of profound

showing intellectual penetration or emotional depth

I thought it was a bit of a compliment to Aegle who showed a profound insight

We all know what profound means Wiz but you went on to say it added little to the discussion. That seemed like a a backhand to someone who was supporting your idea.

Anyway maybe I was in a bad mood this morning before coffee and read too much into a loose statement. My apologies..let's move on.

One thing is puzzling me. I've been assuming that you are TKFM_Wizard or the Baca_Wizard who is still posting on the UK forums. Yet you say you aren't allowed to post on the UK forums. Am I missing something?

You are correct Sir and it now seems I am able to post on uk forums once again I would prefer just to leave it at that if you would be so kind

Didn't mean to pry or rattle the skeletons.

Anyway you're always welcome here even if you do p me off in the early morning.  Wink

A cup of coffee makes an amazing difference to my disposition.

But, please, get back to the discussion. I'm afraid I sidetracked it.
