This topic was raised elsewhere but became diluted by discussion on the merits of having an international community. So that meaningful discussion may continue within the limits of USAAC's purpose I have created this separate topic. I will attempt to summarize the views expressed to date.

It was suggested that USAAC could possibly include games other than Air Attack as is the case on the U.K. site

It was suggested that more effort should be put into attracting new players, encouraging them to stay and offering training for them.

It was suggested that leagues and events might be better developed to gain and retain the interest of players.

It was suggested that USAAC could be more helpful to new squads trying to start up.

To quote Tbar:

Quote
What a community needs to do is reach out to new and old pilots.
A community needs to promote the game.
A community needs to bring forth new and fresh ideas, and solutions.
A community needs to be able to enhance the over all experience of the pilots.
A community should help new squads, the formation of new squads and make things simpler for them to do so.
A community needs to get people involved, so we have more talents and more fresh input.
These are but a few things a community should do and should be its purpose. What do you think?

Those of you who have already contributed and wish to elaborate on their thinking please do so. Anyone who has not yet contributed but has ideas please share them with us.

Please remember that the topic is specifically about USAAC's purpose and keep the discussion on track.

I think including other games is a great idea.
might just bring more pilots to the airattack community.
