Hi guys
Hope u can help me with this problem.

I am trying to get 2 computers to run on Air Attack so's Mrs Mutley ( my wife) can play at the same time as me.

The UK internet provider is "sky broadband wireless" with a netgear hub.

I have set up two Air Attack accounts and have different  'ips' for each computer but the client 'ip' remains the same on both, which i think is the problem

If so, is it possible to change one of them ?

a very frustrated

Going through a router you may need to set up port forwarding.  On some networks you need to do this and others you don't.

My last set I had 4 PC and I could get 2 online at anyone time.  I never tried any more than that, but I imagine that I probably could of had all 4 online at one time.

You'll find settings you need throughout the forums on all the communities to find the ports that you need to open.   You can also find some good information : http:portforwarding.com

I have the same problem....cant get two pc's on at one time. You need to have 2 different IP's from your isp rather than your 2 different IP's on your LAN setup.

I am on cable and here is how I can have over 12 people online at the same time:

Linksys Cable modem
Linksys Router 8 Port
Linksys wireless router 4 port

Call your internet provider let them know that you want to hold LAN parties and if they could increase the bandwidth to your house.

The internet service provider will assign an IP to your modem.  Your router then assigns unique IP's to the open ports.

When I have the TS reunion at my house, we all fly at the same time without any problems, except for when someone tries to fly via the wireless connection but if they are hooked up to an open port on the wireless router via a cat5e cable, there is no problems.

Try this and let me know if you met with success m8.

Thanks guys for all your help it is very much appreciated

However the gold star has to go to, 'Honolulo!'  first

The following combinations do not work:-

With 2 computors connected to AA via wireless, either will work individually and will access the launch page similtanously, but will not allow both to go into arena

With one computor connected to AA via wireless and the other connected to the wireless hub via ethernet cable the result is as above

It wasn't until, Honalulo, mentioned that he had to use cables to get his wireless hub to access AA, that the penny dropped and I connected both computors to the wireless hub via ethernet cable - and yipee! It worked with both computors similltanously!

Now all I have to do is to turn the house upside down, to get our incoming line moved to the other end of the house! lol

Thanks again all
lovin your work

That question is not really fair, I was blind sided by the "anvil in the pillow trick"!!

But TS_Pilot was victorious!!

Firestorm, did you try that set up yet?

Hi Hono,

At present I just havent had the time due to work commitments......you would think with a recession they would have no money but it doesnt work like that......no one has money to spend on expensive advertising, so what do they go do......poor money into their websites to advertise that way.

Think I should be happy but all this work is driving me nuts. I need to retire  thumbsup

Anyone good with Flash, building Joomla websites or designing websites......PM me before I go completely crazy  crazy
