At the last meeting there was some discussion about changes to the USAAC web site. I wasn't sure what it was all about as those discussing it were doing so from the basis of having had previous discussions that I was not familiar with.

Elsewhere I have talked about how many amongst the general population of US pilots do not feel comfortable with USAAC being their home. From talking to many of them it seems that they lack trust in USAAC because they think it is elitist in some way; only representing a few individuals and doing things in secret.

Please immediately correct me if I'm wrong and have missed something due to inattentiveness over the last couple of months because of my personal issues, but has the need for a revised web site been publicly discussed? Has there been any indication given that there is something wrong with the present site and why there is a need for revision? Enquiring minds need to know.  icon_question

Hi Shrappy,

We were talking about revamping the forums and do some changes to the site to incorporate the feed in a better way. At present I am working through finding the needed code I can use to do this, but the site as it is now isnt up for renewal.

Hope that helps mate.

Thanks, Fire.
I guess I was just wondering what was wrong with the site or forums as they were and why they needed changes. But I think it's probably time for me to stop asking questions and giving opinions that people probably don't want to hear. I'm beginning to believe what I've been told a couple of times; that I just like to stir things up and cause trouble. I need to relax and just go with the flow.

Dont believe everything you hear mate or think you hear. Settle back and take life easy but your opinions are always enjoyable to read, or at least I find it entertaining.  biggrin

Absolutely right.
I intend to relax and enjoy real life for a while and avoid the unrealities of cyberspace.
