Hi guys,

The question is simple...as mentioned in one of my previous posts on this topic, we need to work out first if we are going to change the names before we even look at possible ideas.

I posted a suggestion in this topic immediately after Neutral created it. Since then the topic has been turned into a poll and my post has disappeared.

There is a problem with the server swap that happened yesterday. There seems to be 2 versions of the site still running,The old server and the new one. There are some DNS issues that still need to be worked out.

I don't think the XO room disappeared, Inferno. I think you are just a victim of the corporate lay off procedures. You quit so poof no more ability to see the secret proceedings. You are no longer allowed to see democracy in action.

I also notice that whereas previously the poll showed 4 votes for the first option  it now shows 3.

Due to current economic conditions and the rising cost of oil, gas and electricity the Light At The End of The Tunnel has been switched off

Talk with FireStorm. I think its all to do with some DNS problems as he moved the site. AS far as access, which i don't know btw, it is probably as you said.. if you resigned, you don't need access to certain rooms.

Is it necessary for someone to repeat what has already been said.

hi all,

It might take a day or two for the DNS to completely change over. This is normal but I do suggest flush your dns cache as that will help the problem.

If you do not know how to do this here are the instructions.

WinXP
Go to Run, then type in cmd ( This will bring up a command prompt )
Type in ipconfig /flushdns
You should then get a message saying:
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache

This will effectively flush any DNS changes that have been made. If your ISP hasnt yet cleared its DNS cache there will also be a problem but all this should be cleared up in the next day or so.

Lare...in response to you post regarding your disappearing post, this would have been caused by the changeover as the poll was added very soon after the initial post from Neutral was made and no post was deleted.

In respect to not being able to see certain rooms, it is correct that certain permissions have been reduced.
