If they are still undecided, then they are slower than my wife about making decisions. Wink

Temper  KMB    ;D

Sky will let you know soon m8, just making sure we have enough for matches. A few of the ships wives would like them back on Sundays for a bit after a year of 2 squads :)

Question about tags, since pretty much we prefer not to use WS, are we permitted just to fly -  Salami, Madman, ect ?  Since I take it match rooms will only be visable to Squads taking part.

Hi Sal,

Here are the rules for the Tag format from the Marine Memorial League.

Quote
Tags:

The LTS is a fun league, to promote friendly banter all tags will be identifiable tags with squad identification. Up to the first 6 spaces will be used for squad identification only. Example of allowed tags: USHA_Slayer, Tkfm_Vipor, BSS_Joker etc... No Exceptions.

If you look at the allowed tags you will see that using just the name Salami will not be acceptable. Also just a FYI, I am pretty sure that the other commnities LM's are going to go with this tag format for future leagues.

I hope this does not affect Warships participation in the Marine Memorial League, for I think it will be a fun league and would hate to see you miss the fun.

Thank you,

Skydancer

Originally rules did not say that, yet when they were changed it was done with an edit.  No update was given on the post that the rules changed.  Nice..
Doubt UK will impose that rule change, only GE may.  Either way, it's all about power.  I can't believe something thats been fine for 10years is suddenly being changed.

Yep bunch of crap, singled out pretty much Tigs and us on tag formatt,
Pretty obvious now you dont want us taking part. Regestered tags on Clp no good, Using just our names no good.  Sad shame what it is

I always said tags don't mean anything in competition it's the Squad flying as one, we had our share of the beef tag issue and now it still marches on.

Tags don't mean a thing, always said it and always will.

You misread.

Folks, a lot of things have changed in the last 10 years. Tags is just one of them.

Sal, I know who [Warships]1 is, and who [Warships]2 is. The rest of Warships I would have to look up each time I played Warships. If the Ships changed to WS_****** tags, your lesser known players would become recognizable. This would promote friendly banter, and this is good for the game. Banter is almost non-existent these days, but part of that is due to Teamspeak use. Reffing has gotten completely boring because of it.

I hope you will reconsider. It is the way forward. I firmly believe this.

Temp,
Hello, guess you mised read too, dont give a dam about numbers or letters. Asked to fly our dam names and still no. How hidden is that
? Whats that suppose to make me think. Maybe being a bit bullheaded about WS, but plain fact 2/3rd squad does not like it. Id go Warship_Name
But still 1 letter to many by the rules. Wheres the compromise ?
Yes its still sad After 10 years 2 squads have to change their tags, just for the opinions of a few. So if you want us supporting the USAAC Leagues, which we do want to. What other Tags may be acceptable besides WS tag

I guess I just don't get why Salami is ok to you but WS_Salami is not.

I'm not bullheaded. Hardheaded perhaps... Wink

Bullhead comment was refering to myself.
No one asking you to understand, just respect we wish not to use the WS tag. Guest thats asking a bit isnt it, talk about friendships and banner into the game but dont leave out respect to your fellow pilot too.

Enough of that, any suggestions again on a tag that exceptable let me know.

WARSHIP_
[53RD]
53TFG-
ECT?

Hope we can sort this before the 19th
