Hello AA Pilots,

I was just over on the UK Forums and I saw a post by Hono.   TS_Hawk has lost his battle with cancer and is now flying with a new set of wings in a far better place than all of us.   Hawk was a very good pilot and helped a lot of guys including myself with their flying skill.

Hawk, We'll miss you! Rest in Peace mate.

Steve never minced his words and never left anyone in doubt about how he felt on any subject but I will remember him as a generous man, a loyal friend and someone I would have been proud to serve with in any circumstances.

May he rest in eternal peace.

Hawk was a good friend to me for many years. It's with great sorrow that we will no longer have his presence here.

He was a man who did not mince words and you always knew where you stood with him.I will miss him greatly.

Through the good and the bad in this game we all adore,he always showed me respect,as I have always showed him in return.

God speed my friend.I will see you again soon enough.

So here Isit with tears in my eyes saying good bye to a freind I never met, what a world! Hawk was wondering when I first met him looking for a place to call home in AA. he started winging with me, from then on we were going to be on the same team. He always had kind words and praise for the AA crowd/family.  His efforts in the game rival any i know, and what I can geuss is in his offline life he is loved more then any man can hope. so to his family I Salute you and share these tears rolling down my face with you.

When a comrade passes from our midst it is an opportunity to re-evaluate our lives and how we ourselves would wish to be remembered.

None of us know when we will leave this mortal coil so it is important for us to appreciate and enjoy every day, every moment to the fullest. Value everyone with whom we spend our time; appreciate their strengths and play down their frailties. We should speak only words that we want to be remembered by and avoid words of bitterness and anger which we can only come to regret. Take every opportunity to show our friends and family how much we appreciate them. Learn to forgive lest we be not forgiven.

I will forever remember our friend Steve for his fighting spirit, his constant willingness to help those in need. In everything he did he demonstrated a staunch loyalty to family and those he called friends. He now joins that special group of fallen comrades that I have known over the years, who will live forever in my memory.

Seek out your loved ones, hug them and make them aware of how much you appreciate them.
