Farkas, go to the CLP help forum, and post your PC details, and what problem you are having getting into the game, including exact error messages. Everyone can read that forum, and someone will be able to figure out the problem.

Lotta self-help tapes out there. Got one called "How to Handle Disappointment." I got it home and the box was empty.

Am I reading too much into it or is Farkas having an issue that goes deeper than just a PC problem?

It does seem to be bothering him that he couldn't get the TEA squad off the ground so to speak and what is it that "broke him apart in the last few days?" Maybe I'm just lettin my senility show and maybe I'm way off beam but I know Farkas gets a lot out of the game and the community so I feel a need to say somethin or anything that might help. It would be a darn shame if he has to drop something he loves so much because of either a PC problem or some kind of mind hang up.

I think Farkas takes the game too seriously like most of us do from time to time, me included. It aint real life and we should separate the two in our heads. I know I got myself all screwed up a couple of months ago by gettin too serious about how I perceived the way in which someone close to me was behaving and people's reaction to it. Now I've come to the conclusion that the same principles that apply to the arena's also apply to the social aspects of being in the community. It's all a game and we need to learn not to get so damned het up about it.

Farkas, if your reading this, take a deep breath buddy and reconsider where you’re at. If it's just a PC problem you’re having then take Temper's advice and forget my ramblings. If you're bothered by not getting a squad off the ground get it out of your head now. Think about it man; you attempted something that few others have and you nearly succeeded. The time just wasn’t right for a new squad. Not enough new people and the older ones all wanted to be in established successful squads. It didn’t work for you so move on.  You should feel proud of what you tried to do. There’s no shame in it. There are other ways to enjoy the game and the community. You’ve been a leading light in the fun events area and why shouldn’t you continue to be involved in it if you enjoy it. Just don’t take it too seriously and don’t get uptight when the rabble criticize what you do. Most of em don’t do anything themselves and some don’t even know who their daddies are so ignore them.

Maybe, as Firestorm says, you just need a break but if you’re quittin because of stuff that can be resolved just tell us what it is and I’m certain there’s a cure for whatever ails you. We’ll figure it out together. Above all don’t take life too seriously. It’s only a temporary condition.
