MONDAY NIGHT EQUAL POWER 3-15-10

      In this week's Equal Power the featured plane was the German BF109-G6 and we had a total of 23 brave pilots show up to test their skills. With a slow top speed of 335 mph it was a slow dogfight but sporting canons with a range of 1700 ft. and machine guns with a range of 1600 ft. it made for some intense shoot outs.
       The first half started a bit late with the time change starting it an hour late and some P-38's showing up on the runway's but we soon had that straightened out and started the event. SU took control right off the bat and pushed the GE pilots back to their base and kept them there for the rest of the half. GE fought back hard but SU had the killing machines SSI and Obama on their side and they didn't have a chance to recover. SU finished the half in the lead with a Half Time score of; SU= 77 to GE= 50.
       In the second half SU wasted no time and continued hammering the battle weary GE pilots as they bravely fought back hard to save their dignity. These planes had tough skins and were hard to down but SU fought in teams and made it look easy. Of course with the killing machines on the SU side the poor brave GE pilots didn't have a chance. Still they hung in there until the end but lost with a Final Score being; SU= 142 and GE= 105. Great Job SU,Great Try GE,Great Game All!
