Religion and Politics in that order are the number one reasons for most of the violence on earth. Religion usually being the predominate reason,as evident in the recent slaughters in Nigeria. It is so horrifying that I will not post any pictures or video's on this. You can look it up on your own.
Religion in this country teaches us things like "Love thy Neighbor" "Do unto others as thy self",etc.,and basically most others teach the same fundamentals. When actually they all really teach quite the opposite,if you read between the lines. Religion is a good tool to rally believers to further an individual's cause. People have an unending thirst to believe in something and clarify their purpose on earth or in life. Why must it always end in violence?
Everyone is very vocal on politics everywhere on earth, blaming that on every problem that comes along when the real problem deep rooted in the heart of most problems is religion. People are afraid to voice their oppinions on religion believing they may be struck down by lightning or worse,go to hell. Well folks guess what? We already are in hell. How would the world be if there was No Religion on earth? Would it be chaos like so many believe? Or would it be peace like some believe?
I patiently await the day when scientists prove that we are here by chemical reactions in the right conditions and not by some divine power as most believe. That may be the day that chaos takes over the world. It also may be the day when all wake up to our real origin and peace shall reign. I feel this day will never come, religion is to deep rooted in all societies for this information to be believed by most.
If there truly is just one god, then why is there not just one religion?
If there truly is only one planet with life, then why are there billions of planets?

Tulla,I welcome your comments on this subject,I know you want to say something m8. I also welcome everyone else's comments.  Cool

Well Bonz you have opened a can of worms here, Keep in mind these are my personal views.
Keep history in mind, the Jews and Islam have been at odds long before Christians came on the scene(well not Islam per se, but the jews had many enemies)
Next came the crusades, christians claming the holy land for themselves.
Then Martin Luther.
Then Henry the 8th.
Christianity has been in turmoil since its inception.
In this world there are 5 major religons:
Christian
Jewish
Buddism
Hindu
Islam
They all have teachings of love and concern for fellow man
All have perverted and radical elements.
Its a no win situation.
as with the yen and yang  you have the good and the bad, I wear a yen and yang tat on my left shoulder to remind of the balance in the world.
You can seek good all your life, but bad will cross your path!
I know how you feel bro, it seems that many have died  in the name of god and they have, but many have been helped out of troubled times in the name of god.
Funny thing about religon it causes massive turmoil and Joy at the same time.
Me I have my Yen and Yang to guide me.

If anything is nearly 100% true in the 1st´Zeitgeist´ - movie, I believe it´s the 1st part about religions.

Quote
And the politician said to the priest: you keep them dumb, while I keep them poor.

It is very likely that all religions having its roots in the egypt religion.

I believe in something (a higher power) but the church and religions.

Politics and diplomacy are good as long as human greed isn´t involved.

I actually have read about Abiogenisis, believe it or not, scary Tulla, lol.  biggrin
It's a long way from proof but they are on the right track.

Ya J the Jews and Islam will never stop fighting, funny when you think that Jesus came from that area. But worse is going on in Africa, all over the place. Ethnic cleansing, with horror stories that curl your toes. One doesn't believe what the other does so they must go type mindsets fuel bloody brutal attacks on innocent victims no matter the age. All for religion! Earth is in turmoil, the end may be closer then we think, lol.  biggrin

Lest we forget Northern Ireland over the years, Protestant VS Cathloic.
Pro Choice VS Pro Life Evangelicals who have mudered and bombed here.
Africa is more a tribal issue than religous, unless the world invest massive amounts of money this will continue. Islam is gaing a foothold there due to the turmoil.
This Chit will go on forever, and not a lot we can do about it.
Now you want worry about the end of the world wait till they get that Cern super colider up to full power! They are looking for the "God Particle" they find it and we gonna get vaporized! Wink

    Yea,  the space provided will not cover the mistakes we have made as a species.  I  have first hand experiance with a higher power, and just like me I insert joke here lol {HIGHER}
But it is no joke what people have done in the name of religon. Not for the source/god/being, creator bla bla bla , what ever you chose or dont not chose to call it/him/ her ect.
We ruin or cure the future with the way we treat our loved ones, {children-wives-freinds-strangers-enemys-everyone including our selves.
Dont let the interpitions of past or present be your truth, seek for your self and there  the answer is you wont be able to avoid seeing it if your looking.
     Much love to you all

Well Breeze there is a hicth to that, you can't forget the past, if you do you are bound to repeat it, if someday the whole world becomes "enlightened"
to this then things might change.

Really?  The odds of these so called right conditions and sequences are so astronomical its comical.

Here is a site where any and all can go take a gander, spend some idol time and determine for yourself whether Evolution or Creation is what sounds most logical.

Who Created all of this?

The truth is,we all will never know where we really came from, not in our lifetime anyway. There are many theories on how life began and when it comes down to it,It is one's own faith in whatever he/she believes was our beginning that drives us on and gives us hope for the future.  biggrin

Who knows? We could all just be a pimple on a dog's @^^. I can say that word here, right?  biggrin biggrin biggrin

Well Rex give something like a billion years and a lot can happen!
My prob with ID is they say the world is only 4000 years old, a concept based on lies and faith is not sound and misleading.
Way to go Bonz you got me butting heads with my best friend here!
 lol lol lol lol lol
No Rex I respect all beliefs because its their choice, I am not here to critisize, just pointing out the facts of history.

No problem John.

I am not here to judge or criticize either.

In fact, all I did was ask a question and post a link for those who would like to see some theories and background on a question that we all as humans would like to know the answer to.

Very interesting is how some scientists calculate the odds for it all to fall into place. And the lack of transitional evidence for when we evolved from one thing to what we are now. If nothing else, it will make you think about it all.

Check out the eye link as well as the human eye function video as it hits close to home with what you are familar with. (Cameras and Videos)

Cheers mate!
